  Event Overview

Here are just a few of the distinctive aspects of this event:

  • While this event is held at a specific church location, it is not an event of any one church or ministry. It is actually put on and sponsored by a number of churches in the Greater Portland area, with men of different churches involved serving as greeters, registration team members, ushers and other volunteers, (familiar faces from each participating church).

  • Men of each church are seated together in a section of the worship center to build friendships and camaraderie, strengthening each church’s men’s ministry.

  • Discussion time occurs during each session to allow men to connect with each other and unpack and apply the teaching.

  • Our goal is that men will leave the conference and be committed to either join up in a group or begin a discipleship relationship with the same friends he came with.

  • Speakers and Worship Leaders are from the region to provide an opportunity for them to impact the men in their community.

  • The Conference theme is built around being a disciple of Jesus Christ and learning how to disciple other men . A conference workbook is used as the study tool for the Follow-up Groups.
